Allinall the photos are quite sharp regardless of outdoor weather conditions
Being handheld the photos are sharp to say the least and when i use the tripod the photos are even more crisp
The zoom from 70 to 200 is all internal meaning that the length of the lens does not change

1 at the same aperture this lens produces brighter images than the tamron
8 gm version1 to compare them to and quite possibly better

The photos were taken using a sony a7rii with the sigma 70200 dg dn os for sony

I have worked with this lens for 7 days thus far and from what i can tell this lens appears to have image quality at least as good as sonys gm lens i own the sony 2470mm f2

The reason why i say quite possibly better is that when i take photos outside with sun andor clouds of objects the image is tac sharp coming right off of the camera without any editing
