Pros

Quality

The quality of these fans are top-notch and they perform flawlessly.

This device looks, feels and works like a quality piece of equipment and that is what will make it a keeper for a long time.

This thing is built like a tank sits on top of the marantz as if it was made for it.

Once it hits 85, it silently kicks on and drops the temp 1-2 degrees in a matter of seconds.

Price

I have nothing but praise for these fans- they're simple, inexpensive, effective, and reliable.

The fans are programmable and respond to a temp sensor so that the fans only run as fast as needed to maintain the programmed temperature of the device it sits on

This one has top exiting exhaust but other versions exit to the front or to the rear

The fan is noisy when it kicks on so if you are close to the unit and the room is not big you will definitely hear the fan

I recently returned a buggy onkyo receiver and bought a denon

For my setup the denon works far better and while i couldnt be happier i also couldnt help but notice this thing runs quite a bit warmer than the onkyo did

The first thing to consider is where your avramp has the most space for the exhaust to be vented

For me i have my avr atop a floorstanding rack with 1334 of empty space above so i opted for the t9 unit
