The only downside i can really think of is the screen touches the keyboard when its closed so when you open it there is small smudges

However there are screen protectors out there or even little rubber dots that can make that stop when closing

Mine has the 1600x900 resolution and the geforcegt 650m with 2gb of ram

If you get the gt 650 model with 2gb of ram it actually uses faster ram then the 1gb model and basically doubles your throughput so the screen rez scales fine

You can also scale down to 1366 x 768 and keep the correct aspect ratio without any pixel distortion if you need a smoother frame rate

All in all this laptop is a beast for games and the only reason why i am not giving it 5 stars is because it gets quite loud when running at full blast
