Pros

These are easy to use and great for compressing your tent or sleeping bag to take up less space. Great for replacing the bag your tent came in to make packing easy. It compresses sleeping bags quite well too and keeps the dust and dirt off them. It wi...  Read More

I have a big agnes elk park -20 sleeping bag. It fits perfectly in the xl bag. Marmot sleeping fits a little snug in medium, but it fit.

The alps sack is more durable than most other sacks i’ve seen. It feels extremely durable and is easy to crush and compress down to the smallest you can get it to be, which is roughly the same width of my backpack.

Cons

Heavy materials designed for durability did not work for me. Failed miserably. I have a couple of cheap 40 dollar bags and they do not come close to fitting inside the largest compression sack.

The straps take away so much space from what you could be compressing down if the straps extended further. The material is abrasive to the point of giving road rash to knuckles while trying to stuff it. Will bleed blue dye in rain.

We were even able to fit another days worth of clothing in it on one occasion and we are both plus size folks so we wear bigger clothing than the average couple
