Pros
Video quality and color accuracy is better than any of my comparable webcams. Works on an app and can show multiple cameras. If you are looking for a webcam that you can view on mobile devices and web browsers, this is it!

The only remaining issue is this '16x digital zoom' no extra power plug/wires and much less expensive than purchasing the poe version!

I just feel these camera are very underwhelming. Unlike the previous models the one received has inferior picture quality (although still rated as 1080p) and has no zoom function. This one is a pos.

Phone apps are very invasive to privacy as well, as is the pc version. You spend your time * around with column widths to see anything. Even the downloadable app for the computer is garbage.

Competitiveness
Ive had 4 of these up wirelessly now for about 6 months for a small business with an amcrest hybrid nvr and i very impressed
I have cat5 cables from my network equipment with a powered switch
I also firewalled them so they can only send traffic to my blueiris server on the other subnet and not possibly contact anything else
But amcrest products because their customer service personnel are the best especially lisa

Ive bought a few of the v3 cameras before as this seems to be all amcrest is stilling but this one is still marketed as a straight 841w

One of the main causes of not being able to connect to camera was that the ip address needed to be set to static
