New and improved harness i did not mind the extra step since it enables a much easier buckling up of a child as he grows for instance you dont have to get his hands thru the harness since the top and bottom of that part now have to be put together

The handle has a good grip and it is made of rubber which you can wash or wipe down properly versus that yucky bobchiccograco foam stuff they have on handles that falls off with gentle wear and tear
