Pros

The broan bathroom vent fan is a great, inexpensive bathroom venting/heating. It comes with an infrared heat lamp to supplement the heat produced by the fan.

Overall happy with the value and ease of installation. I install lots of these, they work well.

Cons

Wiring instructions are non-standard, creating installation challenges for electrician. Otherwise, there's no way to affix the unit because the brackets have to be nailed into both joists. We are in the process of contacting broan to see if they can s... Read More

No motor or blower wheel inside. Got very loud in the first year. But fan remains extremely loud.

Competitiveness

I like that this unit can take the 250 watt br40 clear bulb rather than the older red light

Can take much higher wattage than it says without issues update 3 years later with a 300w heat bulb in it no issues
