Pros

I am pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who has a similar need. Great replacement piece. Overall great product.

The spring loaded flapper provides a tight seal when not in use. Better than the flimsy aluminum kind. Very durable materials.

The 639 broan wall cap is ideal for through the wall venting of over range microwaves. This wall cap is excellent for venting through the gable rather than the roof. The vent is a little smaller than i was expecting.

Cons

It’s not easy to install and pricy. The vendor wants a 20% restock fee and for me to pay the postage so returning it isn't worth while.

Mine had a bent flange and cracked paint from the bend from shipping but i planned to paint it anyway so that wasn’t a big deal
