Pros

Overall happy with the value and ease of installation. Works fine now. I install lots of these, they work well.

Having the heat lamp to supplement the heat was a key factor to replacing the fan with a similar unit. The first one is a clear looking bulb and that produces a nice moderate amount of heat. These are more intense and produce a lot more heat.

This product is on the noisy side but i usually play music in the shower so it doesn't bother me. The fan seems to work well and is not very loud. Fan is loud, but it works.

Cons

Wiring instructions are non-standard, creating installation challenges for electrician. There's no way to affix the unit because the brackets have to be nailed into both joists.
