Pros

The damper works fine and is very quiet. Used for an overhead stove vent system.

The vent is a square shape, so it's easy to make a cutout on the shingles. The only downside is that the * could probably be a bit wider.

Cons

The aluminum damper is quite flimsy. The uphill seam on this are not soldered or sealed. The vent flap doesn't seat firmly on the body of the vent cap.

Two of the four corners bent due to poor packaging. Total garbage. Completely useless. It isn't worth the hassle.

The finish is good and is the only outstanding feature. The alternative is just as nice but a lot more robust and modular.

This is exactly what i needed and the price is fair

Except at no fault of the seller the shippingdelivery company apparently tried to destroy the boxes in handling

Packaging/appearance

The box corners were crushed one side torn open apprx 10 inches and the product metal roof vent was bent on top and on two sides

Anyway broan puts these things in a box that is barely large enough and the flashing flange gets bent up in shippinghandling

Arrived with perfectly intact box but vent was scratched
