The higher ups did not want to get us adapters as the conference rooms had computers in them already and their solution to the need to display our desktop with our specialized software on it was remote desktop but that has all kinds of problem many man hours 15 minutes times 10 to 20 people can add up to 4 man hours wasted wasted trying to get that to work every meeting

I bought this it is only about 7 but i have saved so many man hours heck i have saved myself hours on setup time with this device many of my coworkers just borrow this from me now instead of going though the problems with remote desktop

Other thoughtsif the hdmi cable is moved around even slightly the video will disconnect for a second and then come back

I corresponded with the seller with the concern on shipping delay and learned that it is shipped from china

It carried 1080p video and hd audio through to my output tv without any lag or artifacts
