This is a neat durable highquality cable as you would expect from cablematters
This is slightly less than the bandwidth required to drive a 4k 60 hz but still quite demanding due to the higher refresh rate
Fortunately its a well specced monitor and has a mini displayport interface which is the same connector as thunderbolt 2

It can now be a 2nd monitor for a late 2012 imac both are 27 though i doubt that matters

Also inside it comes with a compatiblity list and a support email so clearly these guys know what they are selling

However i believe the year of the imac and screen size are important so if your hardware is different it might not work
