Pros
The nektek mount has a very strong magnet and held our phone’s up securely. I swear far too much to give up one of my ac vents, so it was nice to swap my vent clip magnet for this one.
After writing the intial review, i was contacted by nekteck in less than 24 hours. I've purchased 3 others for my family too, everyone asks where i got it. This is the best mount i've had.
Cons
The magnet connection is so strong that when you try to pull your phone off of the stand, you pull the entire stand out of the air vent. The swivel mechanism and locking mechanism to tighten it in place isn’t that great.
This product is not well mademade. It seems like the quality control went downhill from the time i purchased my first product. I like them but they all end with the same broken plastic collar which ends the life.

Used the first for 4 or 5 years before it finally fell apart

The short period of time i went before replacing it i had to just throw my phone in the console which makes it difficult to watch my navigation or change my song in heavy slow moving traffic

Im withholding a star for 2 reasons the plastic components make the knob vulnerable to overrotation

The second reason is i have a ringholder attached to the back of my phone which is designed to use with a magnet mount such as this one and this holder doesnt hold it tightly enough

If you have protective case on phone you have to grab the phone from behind and lift it on an angle otherwise the magnet will pull off the covercase from phone
