I have mine behind a slim plastic case and it holds well when i put it behind a thicker rubber case it drops the phone when i hit bumps

It was hard getting it in the vent without breaking the vent itself it got loose

If you like aiming the air directly in your face from your vents you might not like this

Since this is mounted on your ac vents if you are using heat that means hot air will blow directly on your phone

I dont know if this is dangerous or will reduce the life of your phone but with the heat blowing on it the phone will get hotter than what youd expect from heavy phone use
