Pros & Cons
Pros
The carson sensor magnifier works for my nikon d810. This is probably the cheapest and best product i have ever purchased and seen to check your dslr sensor.
The sensormag is adjustable to fit any 35mm camera. There is a sliding switch on the base that brings out some guides. The led lights really illuminate the sensor so you can easily see the dust/particles on your sensor.
This magnifier does the trick. The magnification is adequate for it's designed purpose and it is adjustable so you can change the focus. Hold tight when attaching it on to camera.
Well worth the affordable price. Good news is that they're only $20ish, so replacing them every year or two isn't a terrible thing. The warranty is also nice to have.
The mount holds the lens in place so that you can see the sensor more easily. The opening on the side is big enough to insert an articulated lenspen and watch while you are cleaning. My only complaint is the lack of fine tuning with the built-in lens.... Read More
Cons
Light seems to be bright enough but the swivel it too short of a duration to be useful. Magnifier still useable but found small flashlight and 3. I could not clean the camera sensor, if i cannot see it.
Highlights
Quality
I use it on a nikon full frame with the vsgo cleaning pack
Works very well and easy to use
Not only did i find some dust under the filter but i found a scratch in the filter that i had not seen with the naked eye when cleaning it
Before you do that turn the camera with the lens mount facing down and using a hand blower try to blow off what you can
Price
The plastic construction probably keeps the price down so i cant fault it for that
Shipping
Since that time ive considered shipping cameras back to nikon for cleaning but always held off as i didnt want to be without
There is an outfit that sells an adapter but while thats a good idea by the time you pay for the adapter and shipping youve alm... Read More
Packaging/appearance
I think the last time my camera body was this clean was when i pulled it out of the box
Was surprised how well this magnified and lit up the sensor dust
Reportedly the d610 would get oil spots but looking at my sensor with this i can see the on the d750 that it was just dust
Competitiveness
It took no time to find the small subborn dust spots and they were quicly removed
It works great in my nikon d7200
I can see my nikon d300s brain with this thing
Starting with my nikon d610 and continuing with my d750 and now d850 i realize sensor spots are a part of being a photographer

This device has lens offset adjustable over about 3 cm 1
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Unfortunately this isnt quite enough to deal with typical mirrorless cameras which have their sensors situated much shallower relative to the lens mount
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The lens needs a little more separation from the sensor surface to focus
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Many including the vendor have declared that this magnifier wont work on mirrorless cameras for this reason
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
First of all it will work but you have to lift the mount above the lens flange to focus it which makes the whole mount thing useless
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
If you dont want to lift it up buy a pair of reading glasses for a dollar down at dollar tree and it will focus for you with the mount in its designed sitting position within its normal range of adjustment
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The ones ive used did not have the mount you always had to hold them above the lensmount flange regardless of what type of camera you had

I try to be very sincere when submitting a review
