The light is bright but dimmable which is great for some bedtime reading or nipping to the loo

Only drawback is that use with cases is for the main part a no no as the built in lightening charger for iphone ipad is only short but that is solved by using one of the usb ports on the back with a regular cable or removing your casethe unit appears well built but this is to be expected based on price and noting that you supply your own apple watch charger done by inserting the pad into the rubber holder and placing the cable in the channel and through the hole where the usb and excess cable are wrapped around plastic nubs in the base of the unit and connected to the electricity supply via an internal usb
