First the car seat comes w a hood that extends more than most and a weather protector for the child that makes it so only his head pops out i have a picture

Then the stroller has its own hood so when the baby is in the car seat and it’s sunny on them you close the strollers hood over the caraways hood it fits perfectly that i don’t think water could get through and there are looky throughs so you know the baby is ok

We love the stroller however our issue is that we purchased this open box product knowing the box was damaged

The product came undamaged but there were pieces missing

The description did not mention missing pieces so that was a bummer to have to order the missing parts
