This laser is definitely one of the brightest i've ever seen. It's really just a back up reassurance that my red dot matches after removal and reinstallation. This laser is brighter than a viridian in case you want to know.

Reviewer can't get sight to hold zero. Plastic mounting hardware leaves a lot to be desired. Seems the polymer rails can't take the sharp recoil of the 1911.

Only 2 still work. This item is unusable for over a month now. I have other crimson trace products and they are 100% reliable even after seven years of use.

Crimson trace has suffered a catastrophic failure of its customer service department. Received a defective unit. Changed the battery. Same thing happens with myother cmr 206.
