Pros
Easy to refill. It's cheaper than buying the complete system, but more than that, it's environmentally friendly.
Damp rid is a good product that i would recommend to anyone who has a leak or water damage. Our closet gets so humid from our shower, which is connected. Regular checking and refilling of our damprid containers means no mildew, mold or odors, ever!
Cons
The original canister granules dissolve as they absorb moisture. The refill granules solidify into a hard brick that just sits there with little moisture absorption.
Buyer beware. Although product description did not indicate it was perfumed, it has a strong scent that i could not tolerate.
