If like me you are not a professional havent sewn for awhile or havent sewn adjustable straps on to anything before grab a swimsuit or bra with this style of slide on it

I used the clear ones on a swimsuit id bought on line that did not have adjustable straps and fro modestys sake desperately needed them

Works just as desired

I considered doing it by hand but found that my machine handled the job just fine
