Pros
This filter is the exact filter my whirlpool refrigerator/freezer came with. No constantly filling up a zero water pitcher. Every stinking fridge filter list has this brand at the top.
Cons
It pops out. After 3 weeks of this filter being installed my water stream was reduced to barely a trickle, taking a full 2 minutes to fill a 24oz bottle.

It says to enter your refrigerator model number in the filters search area and that doesn’t exist

I had to go off the manufacturer’s picture and description of the filter to determine if it was the correct one

As to ease of install i believe that has more to do with the manufacturer of your specific item whether it be a refrigerator or water system than it does with the actual filter
