It charges through my phone case but sometimes i have to play with where my phone is placed on the charger for it to charge

Only ding is that the grip to hold the phone in place does stick sometimes when the phone is running a little hot

The phone the has to be propped up against something else so it wont slide off and lose its charge

But the angle may be too steep sometimes and if there are any impurities on the back of the phone or on the charger itself the phone will slide off and no longer charge

I have a samsung note 5 in a spigen slim armour case case link belowwhen i used the fast wall charger that came with the note5 this unit did not work with case on

I would buy the appropriate wall charger if unsure the end user had it or not

It kind of defeats the purpose of a wireless charger to take that much time and trouble to charge it
