Voice is valuable because it announces whether alarm is for fire or co. The speaking room selection is a little tricky to figure out but once you get it the others are a snap. The voice commands are cool, and each room/hallway has its own location.

Cons
Both alarms are defective and need to be replaced. Not looking forward to changing all the brackets on the ceiling with new holes again. Quick installation instructions are ambiguous. Great design, guys - not.
My recommendation to you is to buy literally any other product. Not sure what to do anymore. They're all in the trash now, and replaced with another brand.
The headaches are not worth it unless you have a large or multistorey house. They say it’s dust that triggered the system or a bug.
These are a great idea, but way too faulty to trust again. For your sanity, please avoid these. These are duds!

The alarms were indeed brand new in original packaging so they were a very good deal

The bracket has multiple screw holes aligned with a different brand older alarm holes so no drilling was needed
