Pros

It fits any size round pie pan and stays in place well. I am purchasing another set of these as my first set is falling apart. Even though they do seem flimsy, 25 years and lots of pies and quiches every year is not bad!

Cons

These are flimsy and not much more sturdy than tin foil shaped into a pie shield. The material is less sturdy than a disposable aluminum pie pan - more like heavy duty foil. They fall off or blow off if you use the convection setting.
