This fits the bill perfectly. They work just fine, simply loud. Nothing fancy but works.

The timer has heavy duty electrical contacts that will last a long time under any appliance or lighting load. I like it better than an older one that has ponds you need to pull completely out and place back in the timing section. Small price for maxim... Read More

Cons

The noise has a low volume, but is very noticeable and annoying. This timer needs to be placed where nothing will bump it because the slightest bump sets additional on/off times. There seems to be some kind of flaw in the design of the pins.

It is somewhat challenging to set the time with the dial but a few minutes here or there doesnt affect me much

If you use a power strip you can get around the space problem with the outlet
