Pros

Good quality, sturdy, connection works well. Inexpensive and works perfectly. While technically no longer made by ge, the ge logo was licensed. Appears sturdy and wouldn't crack.

Rated over 600 watts when most lamp bases these days are rated 75 watts or less. Provides good protection and insulation for the bulb, which gets extremely hot. Overall a good light fixture.

Cons
