Pros
This disposal is very powerful compared to the old one and very quiet. It's a more attractive garbage disposal, and it's a great compact option if you have a smaller area under the sink. Rpm is standard for a 1/2 hp garbage disposal.
It comes with a 90° elbow for installation, so if you need anything different from that make sure you plan ahead and have the correct 1. Hp unit. The wiring harness you need is often cheaper in stores. Everything is direct fit.
Cons
Felt that this was poorly made and should not have deteriorated after such a short time. Less than 12 months after install the unit failed. It is out of warranty.

Great item was easy to install and a lot quieter than my last one i’m living this
Great product and no issues since installation
The blade of my original one broke after 19 years of use
From the start the grooves cut into the screws were very shallow and no type of screwdriver would stay in to be able to turn them at all

Best price found anywhere was on amazon for this model
Priced very well good no frills unit
Went from a 13hp to a 12 for a lesser price minus the hook up wiring
30 cheaper than the cheapest the home improvement stores had
Shipping
Item came in fast was easy to install and by far is still my favorite one
New one arrived next day at 1600 hours
Tips so be sure to have the right sized ratchet
Packaging/appearance
Has an extender collar in the box with no obvious explanation on the package or in the instruction sheet or one the website
Sure enough my used one was new with a damaged box
Competitiveness
At this price its a great item and better than the one we almost bought at the big box store
With all expectations met this just once again proves to me at least that ge is still a brand worth trusting
I came back to buy the same thing from a brand i trust
