You cant see the crack once it was assembled and i dont think it hurts the sturdyness

It was pretty easy to assemble i did it by myself at 6 months pregnant in a little over a hour i was to excited to wait for my boyfriend to get home from work

That is the first thing that started to fall apart and when my daughter was born i threw it away instead of using it for her because it didnt feel sturdy enough
