A lot of people think you can just got to a park or a beach and start scanning but most land is privately owned or is council property and i soon learnt that permission to detect is very hard to obtain

Last summer whilst dog walking i picked up numerous 1p 2p and 5p coins in a smallish area of the local park where youngsters gather and where they just throw these coins away
