Shutting the internal led off and opting for an external illuminator away from the camera is a good option

So is not using the cameras weak motion detection feature and going with its better alarm features or external sensors if your location permits

Unfortunately many of them are not fully baked dont work the way most would expect dont play well with external softwarenvrs or put too much demand on the cameras own hardware to be useful
