The cameras will hold their old settings including tcpip information sometimes even if you reset the dvr to factory state

You must hookup the cameras to a router with the old ip address and manually connect or install the hikvision software free to download that will find all the cameras on the network regardless of ip address

Hikvision usa will not warranty those cameras that are the asian version

The hikvision usa cameras come with a 3 year warranty and for me i would rather be safe than sorry by paying the approximate 100 dollars more

Then you have to make sure you line up the cap so that it watertight as well
