I bought for kids shoes and a pair will fit in each hole wouldnt recommend for adult sneakers maybe for flats and sandles but definitely not for boots not even a pair of kids boots will fit in there

Depending on the size and shape of your shoes you can squeeze 2 sometimes even 3 pairs into one compartment but 3 is pushing it unless its flip flops only

Otherwise the advantage of not having a solid bottom is that it can stretch more to accommodate bulky or tall shoes but this one is totally okay for me

Unfortunately i had to return it because the 6 cubbies wouldnt fit a lot of my shoes

It is somewhat difficult to pack though as it doesnt usually like to stay folded
