Pros

At $8, they're a steal, and in my case, the only way to get the job done. It is worth every penny.

Vise grip 10lw is the single tool i would carry on a tractor if i was limited to just one. Comes in 3 size ranges for removing frozen/ seized part. Best vise grip ever.

Worked amazing for some stubborn flare nuts. Great for old brass nuts. If space allows they work better than a flare nut wrench.

Bought this tool by recommendation of a coworker for front end alignments on cars and trucks. For undersized, rounded off, rust fused brake lines and bleeders, this little tool is usually my go to now. Amazing in its simplicity and effectiveness.

The small 4lw is excellent for crimping electrical wire end connections. Irwin is a well known brand name with a reputation for quality tools.

Cons

When clamped with reasonable force on a fastener, the wrench flexes enough that damaging the fastener is a concern. The 7 description apparently is a description of the packaging and not the pliers themselves.

It can also clamp on to a bolt or screw that is stripped or that cant be reached with the usual tool

I didnt know what to expect with the shape of the head but you can grab small bolts and screws really well with it

If this doesn’t work the bolt extraction kits with the impact driven claw should get it done

The quality is what you would expect from vise grip but they are a little on the small side

Packaging/appearance

I took a few moments to adjust it so that id get a nice snug snap onto the 11mm fitting and voila

Competitiveness

In certain applications these seem to grab much better than the flat jawed models
