Pros

The birds and squirrels are very happy about it. I watch them * at the snow for hydration. The birds even bathe in it.

Works to keep water melted in below freeing weather. It keeps the birdbath ~60% open at single digit f.

Cons

Birdbath paperweight only keeps half of the water unfrozen in really cold temps. The heater isn’t sufficiently warm to keep the birdbath melted.

One is like foil, the other metal round. It seems like a poorly designed product. This is a disappointing product i would not recommend.
