Really nice quality for a costume item, after fiddling with trying to get them on for a while. My 12 year old loves all things pirate.

Stays bunched around the ankle. While to upper part of the boot is soooo large, i have to use pins to hold them because they are too loose and keep falling down, and they make my legs look supper fat.

The vinyl is extremely thin and very prone to tearing. The elastic is cheap that goes under your boot and we nearly ripped one side off.

    Also the tops on me tended to slide down a bit so i did have to pull them up every 10 minutes or so but again for my party use not a deal breaker
