Measured myself 3 times and the fit that match fell right off.
There are 2 sets of buttons inside which allows you to adjust it an inch or so larger than the advertised size.

The cargo pockets left and right are decent size

The left has a small auxiliary pocket thats not really deep enough to securely hold a cell phone maybe a note pad or something
