The reasons i didnt give it 5 stars 1 takes a long time to reach ideal cool temp 2 temperature increases rather quickly once unplugged 3 when using it for camping we had an electrical source on our campsite problem with rain as electricals are on top of cooler we put the cooler under our covered picnic table as a result 4 short electrical cords meant we had to keep the cooler in the back seat at the farthest as opposed to the back of our suv 5 not a great seal on the lid

The one issue we had with it was the dc car adapter which broke the first time we unplugged from the car
