Pros
This fridge is the perfect depth and width to fit a 5 gallon bucket or glass carboy that most brewery kits start you with. It's now december, 2010 and the unit is still running like a champ!
Only complaint is that i don't know what the temp is it just gives a range with a dial so you guess.
It seems that this particular edgestar looks identical to the avanti 28 bottle cooler. My only concern is that we will out-grow it soon.
Cons
The unit in real life is about one half the size of the pic and the quality is poor. Unpacked the unit and found a 10 lower back edge dent.
The humidity is too low, no matter what, because it is constantly running. The temp can't touch 49 degrees. Doesn't chill drinks enough.
Like a plastic john deere lawn mower. We are disappointed in the quality of the items and have vowed to never purchase again from compact appliances.

For a little over 200 including shipping you cant go wrong
Buyers beware you have to pay shipping for an extremely heavy item if returning so basically not worth it
I was also able to cash in on a manufacturers no shipping special and an additional 5 discount

It is a great undercounter unit for the kitchen
I bought my first one in 2010 and it has been running like a champ
A 20f differential isnt bad for a 50 watt thermoelectric cooler
Its now december 2010 and the unit is still running like a champ

Also you have to very carefully locate the top right bottle so as not too inadvertently adjust the temperature setting

I live in texas so its not practical to keep my home temperature under 70 degrees during the summer

Only complaint is there is no clear temperature gage but for 5 bucks you can by a hanging frige dial thermometer and problem is solved

Although ive only had this cooler for a little over 2 months it maintains a temperature of roughly 56 degrees

It was just like the picture you just have to put on the side handle if you want that feature
