The fridge is wifi enabled and theres lg app called smart thinq that connects to it

The app is pretty much useless all it does is tells how many times you opened the fridge compared to the average in your area but it has one useful feature if someone left the fridge door open and did not react in time to the fridge itself beeping the app shows an alert on your phone
