Havent tested it out yet but i am sure it will do what it is supposed to when there is some type of spillage on the bed

The last mattress pad i bought not from amazon literally came apart in pieces when i washed it and had to go straight from the washer into the garbage

When i was putting it on the mattress it sounded crinkly and i was worried it would be noisy in the night but it doesnt make any sound once it is pulled tight

I have another mattress pad that i purchased when i bought my bed and it cost almost twice as much as this one did and it doesnt work any better and isnt nearly as comfortable as this one

Washed and dried easily but be aware that washing it might be difficult if you dont have a large capacity machine
