Pros & Cons
Cons
The 3x short tube barlow has multiple internal reflections which cause the image to blur. I have a short tube 2x barlow that works okay.
Highlights
Quality
Images magnified with the 26mm 3x barlow remain crisp and welldefined
I am pleased with the 3x lens as it does provide increased magnification of space objects
I was expecting a higher quality lens like the vite 3x barlow lens 1
But that has more to do with the focal length of your telescope and the travel length of your draw tube
Competitiveness
I bought this and a svbony 2x barlow but sold under lots of different names

On the down side it is also very touchy in that one needs to have the telescope extremely stable and wind conditions cannot be above 57 mph due to stability problems

The single plossl lens was not better than the kellner barlow combo having the same final mag with my scope

I have no idea what you will experience with your scope

The only time i began to see any reduction in resolution is when i created a magnification that went beyond the scopes magnification ability which is aperture in mm 80mm x 2mm 160 mag
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The degradation was due to the scopes limitation and not due to the ability of the barlow to increase the mag of a lens
