Pros & Cons

Pros

They fit snug, are easy to assemble and work well even with 10awg wire. I use mine with thickly jacketed installgear 12 ga wire and it's a perfect match. The teeth design makes it super easy to get even thicker wire threaded.

Everything about them oozes quality. These are solidly built with a nice quality weight to them. I choose these due to the fact that had large red and black id coloring.

Banana plugs make connecting/disconnecting speaker wire from speakers and amps. Great sound and great intimate contact with the plugs into the receptacles on my b&w speakers. Easy termination of speaker cables.

The mediabridge banana plugs are an excellent addition to our bedroom a/v system. Heavier and sturdier than my previous plugs. Not the cheapest plugs but were easy to work with.

Cons

The method of hooking the wire to them is a joke. Spend some money and get the real ones.

If you’re using 10 gauge wire be sure to have a very small flathead screwdriver handy to push the wire down inside the banana connector
