Pros
The kids love it! Kids are 7, & 5! This just goes to show that you can’t go wrong with melissa and doug products for any age. The toy has been loads of fun since opened at christmas.
A great way to teach writing and spelling. For beginning spellers it's nice to have all the letters displayed for guessing. Perfect old time game for learning words and just plain fun.
Cons
The material of the drawing pad is not intended for drawing and erasing. The tiles are so tight that it’s more of a hassle trying to get them turned over. This is perhaps the first melissa & doug product that i am not satisfied with.

They never really cared for the old fashion way to play hangman but with this one they just won’t stop playing

This product was well made but when my grandkids went to use the dry erase marker for the first time after opening it the dry erase marker was all dried out and it wouldn’t write on the board also one of the parts on the hangman that you turn over was glued to the board and we couldn’t get it to unglue so we couldn’t turn the piece over

The board is sturdy the provided dry erase marker is meh we had to replace it within a week

When you flip the letters and they are a little hard to flip they make a loud smack on the wooden board
