The midea is unlike those old window a/c's that are constantly making that constant noise. Super-quiet, but enough sound to provide low-level white noise for those wanting it (like me).

It was easy for my wife and i to put in together and its really quite compared to the ge one we ha in there

Dont hesitate its better than the 600 dollar ones at home depot and lowes
