Pros
This one has a lower shelf which will hold even champagne bottles. Top shelf runs a bit hotter (58f when set to 52f) this is not a deal breaker for me since the shelves pull out and i have a basket.
This is a great wine cooler after i made a couple of minor modifications. I like the ease of setup and how it looks and the size of it. Not a high end cooler and not energy efficient, however for the money it's a good buy.
Cons
Upon receipt of the second, it's no coincidence - this company simply lacks basic controls. Don't waste your time. Now i have to get that repaired!
There was a huge dent on the door. The bottom of the unit was bulged outward, like it had been dropped. There is a very strange noise gurgling sound that comes and goes frequently.
When there is a power outage, the unit completely resets and does not go to the pervious temperature setting. A couple of degrees forcing it to turn back on - literally only a few minutes after it turns off.

Manual says that before plugging unit in to let unit sit unplugged for 2 hours so that coolant system can recover from shipping handling
Price for the unit has gone up 50 in 4 years but a new control board is only 30 5 shipping
Packaging/appearance
Packaging is well designed and thought out just cut the 3 heavy duty white nylon shipping bands around box and lift box up off unit
Competitiveness
I gave it 5 stars though one could argue that a power supplycontrol board shouldnt go out in 4 years
Most of the builtin models i looked at were either too big or too small for my space and were much more expensive 500 800
I recently received my newair 33 bottle capacity wine fridge
Nice to see amazon has a worthy competitor
