Pros
Newborn (nb) is slightly heavier than solidwork (sw) great caulking gun. No more hand fatigue and my caulk beads look 10x better. Worth spending a bit more if you are concerned with being able to put down a consistent bead.
It is so much easier to squeeze, much better lever action than the cheap guns. Solid construction, good leverage, comfortable trigger lever. Long enough fold-out wire to puncture tube's seal.
Bought this to replace an older model that was borrowed. This one is a keeper. Worth every penny.
Cons
You kneel on them, they stick to the floor and anything else. It waste caulk and makes a mess. This caulking gun isn't dripless as stated, which is the main reason i purchased it.
This is no better than the 5 buck special i got from hd. Since it performed poorly at first, and then failed, it is a one-star product for me. I will be returning asap.

Very good grip solid materials works just fine
This thing feels very high quality in your hands and i recommend it
Not made for low viscosity materials like silicone acrylic and latex caulks
I bought this and seriously from the first squeeze i was like why did i ever keep getting those cheap pieces of junk
Price
This is a great gun although maybe a tad bit overpriced
Great purchase and definitely worth the extra cost over the cheap throwaway guns
Soyou pay 16 bucks for a home depot top of the line and get that or try your luck on line where you can always send it back

Competitiveness
Yes its a lot more expensive than the 5 dollar wonders at hd but its also a lot better tool and should last a long time

Nondrip works well with caulk but not so good with lower viscosity materials like construction adhesives

You can empty a tube very quick

Not unusual for the tube to empty from the rear onto the gun with a clogged nozzle
