I meticulously studied both of them and came to a conclusion that while d7200 was a definite improvement over the seemingly excellent d7100 in terms of connectivity it did not added much in terms of photography capabilities of d7100 to justify a difference of almost 300

My only grouse with this camera is the extremely limited buffer capacity of this model which is even lower than the model it has replaced

I shoot mostly in rawjpeg mode and the buffer capacity in this mode allows me to only capture upto 6 images in burst mode which is very frustrating

The higher resolution also keeps noise under control at even moderately high isos where it becomes somewhat visible while at low isos the images are quite detailed and noisefree

The camera feels so much better and it lets you access its features faster wich ultimately results in being able to take the right picture at the right time
