Pros
A well-researched, concise biography of america's greatest ww2 general. Patton is often depicted as a hero and/or a harsh taskmaster.
The last chapter, legacy, is a very nice close out to a pretty decent book! This goes deeper into the psyche of the man himself and includes the influences that made him that way. This book depicts him better than any item or book i have read. The boo... Read More
Even though many of patton's victories make him seem almost superhuman, the authors take care to list patton's failings. What stands out most in the book is patton's obsession with military greatness. The book also displays many of his skills that are... Read More

Cons
One thing that intrigues me considering this is a book published by a christian company is why they never approached the idea of patton justifying his lifestyle with his beliefs. Most biographies on patton aren't published by christian publishing comp... Read More

And were it not for his own misbegotten personality traits may well have been the single greatest tactician in the european theatre and if allowed to follow his instincts may well have ended the war much sooner saving countless lives along the way

Mores the pity that such a great tactician would be held back by bouts of depression vanity fits of anger petulance and outright immaturity
