I highly recommend these, and for the money, it's a top notch investment. With all the hype that is written on the packages and even buying a pair at the gates of the chicagoland nascar event. My only complaint. Details are excellent.
I appreciate the eyepiece setup where the diopter setting dial is up by the main focusing ring freeing the eyeglass wearers. Works perfectly for those without glasses too.
The quality and magnification far outweigh the weight. They are sturdy, heavier than i expected. The only contrary comment is that these binos are rather heavy.

These bird centric binoculars are too heavy for the price. Serious optical barrel distortion, easily noticeable and very distracting while panning.

They are a bit heavier than my hubbys d bushnells 25 yrs old but these have amazing clarity
But for my purposes for bird watching and surfing viewing its greatworth the money
They have a limited lifetime warrantee from the manufacturer
The wingspans do the same thing as the nikon but at a much better price
