The description as wall plate is somewhat misleading as it suggests that one would have to remove an existing wall plate to install this one

It sticks out from the wall just a bit so its not something youd put in a place where youd want a flush outlet

In return for giving up one the lower 110 volt outlet one can now plug in two usb devices one of which is marked as 2
